Restaurant Ärla – Fine dining with a neighbourhood restaurant atmosphere in Östermalm

At Restaurant Ärla in Östermalm you will meet Patric Blomquist and Lotta Karlsson, two self-taught restaurant entrepreneurs who in just over a year and a half have established Ärla as a natural meeting place. The flavours are fine dining, while the atmosphere exudes a cozy and intimate neighbourhood restaurant.

Our story

Restaurant Ärla is far from our first restaurant. We have been running restaurants together since 2009. First we ran the lunch restaurant Enskede Krog in a yellow 1920's villa for four years. Then it was eight years with the gastropub Hybrid at Tele2 arena. And now Ärla, the lauded Östermalm restaurant with a BibGourmand in the Michelin Guide

Fine dining lite.

We call the concept fine dining lite. We want as many people as possible to be able to eat with us, without compromising on quality – it should be accessible, but with ingredients and flavours that are of the highest class. The menu includes appetizers where the ingredients take center stage, whether it's asparagus from Gotland, pike-perch from Hjälmaren or salmon roe from Kalix.

Every evening we choose four dishes that we think are especially good and put them together into a tasting menu that we call Four Favourites. We also make drink flights that are matched with the dishes, partly with wine and partly with beer. It is usually incredibly appreciated. The menu is vibrant and constantly changing, all depending on the season.
